A man from Bradford County has been arrested in Williamsport and charged with strangulation, simple assault, harassment, and theft. Kevin R. Campbell, 49, of Sayre, was arrested on October 30 following an alleged domestic violence incident. According to state police from the Towanda Patrol Unit, Campbell is accused of striking his girlfriend and grabbing her around the throat, restricting her airway. Northcentralpa.com reports that physical evidence supported the claims made against Campbell.

Campbell is currently being held in Bradford County Correctional Facility after failing to post $100,000 monetary bail, set by District Judge Larry J. Hurley. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing with Judge Ryan L. Edsell on November 12. Campbell's criminal history includes three Protection From Abuse (PFA) violations and intimidating a witness.
