Wegmans has announced a recall of several canned fruit products due to concerns over high lead levels. The recall affects Wegmans Organic Sliced Pears, Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Halved Pears in Pear Juice, and Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Canned Fruit Cocktail. These products, identified by a best-by date of September 1, 2027, have been found to contain lead levels exceeding regulatory guidelines.

The recall impacts Wegmans stores across nine states, including New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. According to News 4 Buffalo, customers are advised not to consume these products and can return them to any Wegmans location for a full refund.

The affected products were supplied by Pacific Coast Producers based in Lodi, California. Wegmans' official website provides a list of UPC codes and lot numbers for the recalled items. Customers with questions can contact Wegmans Food Markets at 1-855-934-3663 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST for further assistance.
