Authorities in New Zealand made a proverbial finger lickin' arrest when they caught a pair of men trying to smuggle a massive haul of Kentucky Fried Chicken past a coronavirus lockdown. The strange bust reportedly occurred near the city of Auckland, which is currently under strict restrictions due to the pandemic and, as such, restaurants as well as takeout establishments have been forced to temporarily close. Cops keeping an eye on the border understandably had their suspicions raised when they saw a car headed towards them before abruptly making a U-turn and speeding away from the police. The ill-advised evasive maneuver led to a brief chase that culminated with the vehicle being stopped at which point the rather strange discovery was made.
